Radio Taxis established in the late 1950's, have grown to become Carlisle's leading taxi operator. We were the first taxi operator in "Cumberland" to introduce two-way radios into our cars.
Over the past 40 years we have built an excellent reputation for service, quality and reliability.
We currently operate a fleet of between 35 and 40 vehicles, all licensed by Carlisle city council. It is a mixed fleet of both private hire and hackney carriages; we also have a number of owner drivers who operate on our circuit.
Each vehicle is fitted with an Auriga data unit, direcly linked to our booking and despatch office. A system which allows us to respond quickly to your call every time.
